Welcome, I'm Lizzie!

I’m a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and licensed special education teacher with experience supporting children, teens, young adults, and families across home, school, clinic, and community settings. I started my career as a special education teacher before becoming a BCBA in 2016. My perspective as a sibling of an adult sister with special needs has shaped the way I approach my work and given me a deeper understanding of what it feels like to be on the receiving end of services and systems. It has also solidified my belief that connection comes first, and acceptance should be lived out loud.

My personal and professional experiences have given me a broad understanding of the systems that surround neurodivergent individuals and their families—from IEPs and FBAs to in-home behavior support and skill-building. The approach I take is about much more than addressing challenging moments. I want those I support to know that I will listen carefully, teach them what they want to learn, and always be in their corner on the difficult days. I believe we are all more likely to try, learn, grow, and take risks when we feel genuinely listened to, understood, and accepted as we are.

Outside of wholeview, I live with my husband, my two active kids, and a rescue pup. I’m highly experienced in logistics, multitasking, snack procurement, and being in three places at once. When I’m not at work, you can find me reading, working out, enjoying the outdoors, cleaning out car seats, or spending time with the people I love.
